Service Contract

We advise private individuals on reviewing service contracts and asserting any claims.

What is a Service Contract?

Service contracts are frequently encountered in our private lives – even outside of professional contexts. While the employment contract is arguably the most well-known service contract in Germany, there are countless other types, such as treatment contracts with doctors, client agreements with lawyers, or telecommunication contracts for using the internet, mobile phones, and landlines.

A service contract is a reciprocal agreement that governs the details related to the provision of services. Under such a contract, one party generally undertakes to perform specific services, for which the contracting partner (the service recipient) must pay the agreed remuneration (§611 BGB).
