Born in Frankfurt in 1970, Ursin Gunzelmann completed his law studies, including supplementary training in economics, at the University of Bayreuth in 1994, passing the first state examination in law with distinction.
During his legal traineeship (Referendariat), he gained diverse experience through placements in industry and at a lawyer's notary office. He completed his second state examination in law with distinction.
Subsequently, he spent many years working for one of the Big Four firms, serving as Head of a Tax Department, in International Tax Consulting, and as Assistant to the Regional Board in Market Development and Business Development.
Due to his many years of professional experience, Ursin Gunzelmann possesses extensive industry knowledge, including in real estate, automotive, energy, trade, and construction. He has served as a speaker at numerous lectures and training events for clients and students, as well as an author of various specialist publications, a human resources developer, university ambassador, and project manager. His professional focus areas include proactive tax consulting in income and transaction tax law, as well as tax-related legal and contract consulting.
