In the context of contract worker procedures, questions related to commercial law and, if applicable, craft law quickly arise. For instance, under commercial law – if a branch office or a dependent branch is established – a business registration must generally be filed with the authority responsible for the respective location. Furthermore, German occupational safety regulations must, of course, be observed.
In terms of craft law, contract companies are not privileged, meaning they are generally only permitted to carry out a craft requiring approval if they are registered in the Register of Craftsmen. This must be clarified with the competent Chamber of Crafts. If necessary, exemption permits can be applied for here.
Commitments regarding an approved contract for work do not include the permits required under commercial and craft law. We can also advise you on commercial and craft law issues to ensure your project succeeds.
